1.91:1 is the odd one out: it exists because link previews needed a shape between 16:9 and 2:1. At 1200×628 px it is the native size for Meta link ads, LinkedIn sponsored content and the og:image every social platform reads.
What 1.91:1 means
A 1.91:1 frame is 1.91 times wider than it is tall — multiply the width by 1/1.91 (0.5236) to get the height. 1200×628 is the canonical size and is very slightly off exact 1.91 (1200/628 = 1.911), which is why you will also see 1200×627 and 1910×1000 quoted.
